From Passion to Partnership: How I Became a Fora Travel Advisor
The next step in building Everbound Journeys
After deciding to turn something I loved into something more, I knew one thing right away—
I didn’t want to do it halfway.
If I was going to help people plan meaningful travel experiences, I wanted to do it the right way—with the right support, tools, and structure behind me.
So I started researching.
Exploring My Options
What I quickly learned is that becoming a travel advisor isn’t one-size-fits-all.
There are a lot of different paths—and not all of them felt right for me.
One company I looked into required a significant upfront investment, almost like a franchise model.
Another wasn’t accepting new advisors at all and required joining a waitlist.
A third required extensive training before even being considered—and even then, acceptance wasn’t guaranteed.
I understood the importance of doing things professionally, but I also wanted something that felt accessible, supportive, and realistic for where I was starting.
Why Fora Felt Like the Right Fit
Then I found Fora—and it just made sense.
There was a small subscription fee, but it was comparable to the cost of training other companies required. The difference was that this wasn’t just training—it was access to a full platform that allowed me to learn and build at the same time.
It included:
Training and ongoing education
A built-in advisor community
Technology to manage bookings and payments
And the structure made sense too. With a 70/30 commission split, I’m able to build something that’s sustainable long-term—especially compared to other models I explored.
What It’s Been Like So Far
Since joining, I’ve had access to hundreds of trainings—from learning the system, to booking hotels and cruises, to exploring destinations like Japan, France, and more.
But what’s made the biggest difference is the support.
There’s a real community behind it:
Local chapters to connect with other advisors
Forums to ask questions and share insights
Weekly live trainings and seminars
And whenever something comes up, there’s always help available—whether through a chatbot or a live representative.
It’s not just about learning—it’s about having the support to actually grow and do this well.
Building Everbound Journeys
At the end of the day, Everbound Journeys is still very much me—my attention to detail, my love for planning, and my focus on creating meaningful experiences.
But having the right partnership behind me allows me to bring more to the table—more support, more resources, and more value for the people trusting me with their travel.
Final Thoughts
Starting this journey was about following something I already loved.
Choosing the right path was about making sure I could do it well.
Because travel isn’t just about where you go—
It’s about the experience you have along the way.
If you’re dreaming about your next trip, I’d love to help you bring it to life in a way that feels effortless and meaningful.
